Quebec Skilled Worker (QSW)


If you are intending to reside in the Province of Quebec and have either a validated job offer in Quebec or sufficient points on the Quebec Selection Grid, you can qualify for the Quebec Skilled Worker program.


Currently the cap of 6,500 is filled. However, next intake will start on April 1, 2015. It is recommended you start preparing early enough.


Quebec Immigration Selection Factors

A single applicant must score at least 49 points and an applicant with a spouse must score at least 57 points.


The Quebec Immigration Selection points will be awarded based on the Education, Area of Training, Validated Employment Offer, Work Experience, Age, Language Proficiency, Stay and Family in Quebec, Spouse's Characteristics, Children, Financial Self-Sufficiency.


Up to an additional 6 points may be awarded upon the interview.

Then, a single applicant must score a minimum of 55 points. An applicant with a spouse must score at least 63 points.
